No more free money to share in Edo State – Gov Godwin Obaseki

Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki, has claimed that the age where money grubbing political leaders share money meant for the state and its advancement are over in Edo State. He affirmed that some politicians are frustrating his administration because he has actually rejected to share the resources of the state with them.

Obaseke made this known when some Muslim faithful paid him a courtesy visit during the Sallah.

“Only God gives power. What is going on in Edo State is the handiwork of detractors who want to frustrate the administration so we can fail in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people. But that will never happen.” he claimed

The Edo State governor also said;

“We will continue to do our best in paying our workers and pensioners and will continue to develop the state as the time for sharing money is over. The resources of the state are meant for the people of the state.”
