Nigeria’s Muhammed-Bande emerged President of the 74th UN General Assembly
Amb. Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, has been voted President of the 74th UN General Assembly.
Muhammad-Bande, who is the only candidate for the position, was chosen on Tuesday via acclamation at the 87th plenary meeting of the UN Assembly
in New York.
