BREAKING: Ahmed Lawan win Ndume to become the Senate President of the 9th assembly

Yobe senator, Ahmed Lawan of the All Progressives Congress (APC) scores 79 vote to win Borno senator Ali Ndume, also of All Progressives Congress (APC) who scored 28 vote.

Ahmed Lawan has now been sworn in as the new Senate President of Nigeria in an election presided by Chief Mohammed Ataba-Omolori.
