Army kills scores of Boko Haram Terrorist in Michika
The Nigerian Army has sent scores of Boko Haram terrorist to their early grave yesterday when they repel the terrorists who attacked Michika Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The insurgents invaded the town killing lots of people and created chaos that made the citizenry to desert the local government.
Distress call was made to the Nigerian Army by vigilantes at Maikadiri village informing them of noticeable movement of suspected Boko Haram Terrorist moving towards Michika.
The gallant soldiers from 115 Task Force Battalion with reinforcement from 143 Battalion Gulak immediately sprang into action and organised blocking positions and overshadowed the terrorist and many of them lost their lives and some ran away with bullet wounds. The terrorist abandoned most of their items like 2 Toyota Starlet vehicles, tyre inflating machine, Ford vehicle, etc.
The military is now on top of the situation and peace has now returned to Michika Local Government Area. This is according to the Adamawa Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Ahmad Sajoh.
