Watford 1-2 Manchester United | Man United defeats Watford

Man United defeats Watford and ends their Unbeaten record of the 2018/19 Premier League season on Saturday when goals from Romelu Lukaku and Smalling gave the Red Devils upper hand over the home side.

Jose Mourinho’s United scored twice in the first-half through Lukaku and Smalling to put United two goals ahead of spirited Watford.

The second-half saw a goal from energetic Watford through Andre Gray but despite all efforts invested into the match by Watford to find an equalizer, it never came. The last 20 minutes of the game saw Manchester United under pressure from the Watford side that appears younger and vibrant.

Matic picked up two yellow cards which resulted to Red card that sent him off the pitch in the closing minutes.

Watford is now fourth in the league table with 12 points while United is in the eight position with 9 points.
