We Don’t Have Plan to Increase Fuel and Kerosene Price – NNPC

There are no plans to increase the prices of petroleum products this yuletide season, The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) disclosed.

A statement by the group general manager, public affairs division, of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Ndu Ughamadu on Monday, December 4, 2017, says motorist should discard the rumour for an increase in price for petroleum product.

Ughamadu noted that the ex-depot petrol price of N133.38 per litre and the pump price of N143/N145 per litre remains the same.

The NNPC assured the general public that they will ensure a zero fuel scarcity in this yuletide season and urged motorist to desist from stocking petroleum product in cans or any practice that will endanger their lives.  

There are no impending fuel price hikes as seen in some online news platforms, the group concluded.
