Speaking at a State dinner organized in his honour, Buhari said that he always considered what was best for the country in taking such decisions.
President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday night in Abakaliki at a state dinner organized in his honour explained that many appointments in his administration were done purely on merit and there were proven track records to buttress his point.
“I never got to know any of my ministers beforehand but got their names through the records I was given and worked with the records,” he said.
The President commended Gov. David Umahi for his development strides in the State as he used the medium to appreciate the people of Ebonyi state for welcoming his contribution to Nigeria and also showing how impressed he was with the Governor.
