Match Your Words with Your Action –MOSOP Tells FG

The Movement for the Survival of the Ogoni People (MOSOP) in their anger has given the Federal Government an ultimatum of December 2017 to begin the clean-up of Ogoni land or otherwise face their anger.

Reports have it that the rate of pollution is on the rise daily in the area and this has affected water bodies that are meant for drinking and fishing which happen to be a major source of livelihood in the area.

Mr. Bari-ara Kpalap said since 2nd of June, 2016, till date they have only received promises from the Government and nothing tangible has been done toward the actualization of the Ogoni clean-up.
He lamented on how much health challenges this pollution has brought to the land and that they are giving the Government from now till December to match their actions with their words or else watch them storm the streets with protest.
