INEC Declares Governor Willie Obiano Winner of Anambra Governorship Election

Willie Obiano of APGA, the incumbent Governor of Anambra state has been declared the winner in the just concluded Anambra gubernatorial election. The election was held yesterday, November 18th. Governor Obiano received a total vote of 234,071 to beat Tony Nwoye of APC who emerged second with a total vote of 79, 885. Also Oseloka Obaze of PDP finish third with a total vote of 60, 967.

With this victory, Governor Willie Obiano will now be serving his second term.

You can recall that IPOB led by Nnamdi Kanu has said there will be no election in Anambra State until a referendum is allowed to be carried out in the South-east and South-south region of the country. November 18th has come and gone with election done successfully in Anambra State, though there was a low turnout of voters.
