Femi Falana SAN Accused NNPC of Failing to Remit Over $20.2bn Since 1999

Human Right activist, Femi Falana SAN has accused the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) for failing to remit over $20.2bn and N376 billion since 1999. Falana made the revelation at the National Seminar on Promoting Transparency and Accountability in the Recovery of Stolen Asset in Nigeria. Mr Femi Falana said he has petitioned the EFCC to open the case of corruption which borders on crimes against humanity by the NNPC.

Femi Falana used the medium to called the ruling government of Muhammadu Buhari to activate the order of the Federal High court which specifically asked the government to give account of loots recovered since 1999.
