Dasuki Appear in Court as Metuh’s Witness

In spite of the request by defense lawyers on Tuesday for an order of arrest to be issued against Lawal Daura, the Director-General of the DSS for failure to produce ex-NSA in court. Justice Okon Abang the trial judge ruled that he cannot yet conclude that the court order was deliberately flouted by the DSS.

The news has it that the Department of State Services (DSS) has finally brought former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, to court. He is appearing as a witness in the trial of People’s Democratic Party former Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, for corruption.

Following a persistent order by the court to produce Dasuki who has been in DSS detention since 2015, just this morning he arrived quite early for the Wednesday’s proceedings. He was brought to court by DSS operatives.
