Biafra Is Dead – Lai Mohammed Tells Group

A warning was issued out from the Biafra Nations Youth League (BNYL) to the minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed to desist from negative comments and utterance about Biafra.

The minister had earlier said publicly that the just concluded Anambra governorship poll shows clearly that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) is dead. As a reply from them, they told him to respect his old age and look out for how to tackle Boko  Haram and other terrorist groups in the country.

The BNYL Leader, Princewill Obuka said the minister does not know how well the Biafrans are prepared. He mentioned some of their grassroots plans and how they are sensitizing youths and areas where they have covered. Areas like Obudu, Bekwara, Ikom, and almost all the towns in Bakassi including ceded areas.
In Rivers State, he mentioned areas like Ekpeye land of Ahoada East, some towns in Akwa Ibom and how they stormed Onna when they went to mark the death of their late leader, General Philip Effiong.

But the Chairman of the South-East Governors’ forum, Gov. Dave Umahi of Ebonyi has asked the group to articulate their grievances and send them to its secretariat.
