Atiku Abubakar resigns from APC, saying it lacks internal democracy

Atiku Abubakar has finally resigned from All Progressive Congress (APC).  He said APC is making the same mistake PDP made by lacking internal democracy. This announcement may not sound strange to most Nigerians who have already predicted his leaving the ruling party. His Body language has been pointing to that.  Some of the reason given is summarized below;

The former vice president gave 6 reasons for his decision.

President Buhari isolated himself from the party

APC is making the same mistake PDP made, they lacked internal democracy.

I personally am disappointed in this administration, as he recounted the events that led to his joining of the party and their overall performance after taking over power.

APC failed Nigerians and will continue to fail, to crown it all the party is dying. He lamented the continuous neglect of young Nigerians by the Buhari-led federal government, and how the federal cabinet has been running without a youth.

APC made Nigerians suffer

The decision was after due consultation with God

My decision was after due consultation with God, family and the Nigerian people that I represent and with the reasons I have stated, I, Atiku Abubakar, Waziri Adamawa, hereby tender my resignation from the All Progressives Congress while I take time to ponder my future.
