APGA Accuses APC of Destroying its Campaign Posters

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate in Anambra’s November 18 governorship election Willie Obiano has accused Dr. Tony Nwoye and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of destroying his campaign billboards and posters.

APGA said it has uncovered plots by APC to mobilize miscreants for further destruction, warning that any attempt to pull down Tony Nwoye’s posters would be resisted. This was said through the secretary of his campaign organization, Premious Odilli.

The destruction of the campaign posters was noticed on Tuesday along the Onitsha-Enugu expressway and also in front of the Federal Road Safety corps, State Headquarters. Aside this reliable source has it that people who did this disguised themselves as workers protesting for their pension.
APGA claimed that this cannot be true because their government is worker-friendly government and workers are paid on the 24th of each month.
“We are using this medium and opportunity to alert security men to watch out for these men because APGA is very much ready for a peaceful election within the state, all they are doing is to force us into violence and the good news is we will not. APC leaders and all her supporters must desist from destroying our banners and posters for the interest of PEACE, nobody is interested in violence”, Premious Odilli said.
