242 Nigerians Deported From Libya – NCFRMI

A total number of 242 deportees returned to Nigeria from Libya on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, they arrived Nigeria at about 9:10 pm on Tuesday night in an aircraft, according to the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants & Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI).

NCFRMI also revealed on their Twitter end that registration and profiling by government agencies was immediately carried out and also used the medium to warn all Nigerians to desist from any form of irregular migration.

According to reports, a Nigerian migrant was sold for only N145, 000 ($400) in one of Libya’s thriving slave markets that takes advantage of Africans trying to flee to Europe.
