Monkey Pox Breaking News: 7 Discharged from Bayelsa Hospital

It was reported that out of the thirteen Monkey Poxpatients admitted in the Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital, 7 patients have fully recovered and discharged. Mr. Daniel Iworiso-Markson, the commissioner for information in his statement said on Wednesday that the seven patients have been discharged from the hospital. The outbreak of Monkey Pox was reported in the news 3 weeks ago in Agbura area of Yenagoa; that a family was infected with the disease after eating Monkey meat.
According to the commissioner for information, the six other patients under medical scrutiny were responding positively to treatment at the teaching hospital.

 Mr. Iworiso-Markson, is positive that with the way the government of Bayelsa is tackling the disease with committed health and medical personnel, monkey pox disease will soon be eradicated from the state. Bayelsa state commissioner for information went on to appreciate people of the state for observing preventive measures against further spread of Monkey Pox disease.
