, the Ekiti State Governor said that by God grace, he will restructure EFCC
in 2019 when voted into power as President of Nigeria
. He said this in a reception held in honour of two of the State officials, Mr. Toyin Ojo, Commissioner of Finance and Mrs Yemisi Owolabi, Accountant General, who were arrested on 28th of September by EFCC on grounds of refusal to honour previous invitations for brief questioning in relation to pending investigation on the misuse of bailout funds by the Governor of Ekiti State.
Ayo Fayose said that EFCC breached the law by arresting two of his officials because a consisting court order was giving to bar them from arresting his officials. According to Fayose, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is a senseless body for not knowing that the petitioner was someone who was sacked for not deserving to be called a civil servant.
